This succulent chicken tikka recipe is an Indian classic and absolutely loved by all. It's a bit hit at every party/occasion and is extremely easy to prepare. It takes just 15 minutes to marinade, is kept overnight to marinade and its .ready to be grilled.

Ingredients
Chicken boneless cubes-150 gm
Ginger garlic paste-3 tbsp
Mustard oil-1 tsp
Hung yogurt-1 cup
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Kastoori methi-1 tsp
Cumin powder-1tsp
Salt to taste
Red chili powder-1 tsp
Lemon juice-1 tbsp
Lemon wedges,onions and mint for garnishing
Directions
1.Mix all the above ingredients and let it marinade for 4-6 hours or overnight.
2.Grill the tikkas In a tandoor or a pre heated oven at 200 C for 25-30 min or until done.
3.Once half cooked,brush the tikkas with little butter.This helps it remain moist.
4.Once done, garnish with lemon wedges,onion rings and mint leaves.Serve hot with mint chutney.
Health/cooking tips
1.Marinade the chicken overnight for it to absorb all the flavours well.
2.Once the chicken is half cooked in the oven then always brush some butter on all the sides of the meat. This helps the meat to remain moist and not dry up too much.
3.If using leg pieces, then always make small slits inside each piece of meat so that the marinade can get mixed easily.
4.Never overcook the meat in the oven. If you do so then that would tend to dry up the dish too much.
