Homemade No churn Mango Ice Cream

This is the best homemade mango ice cream! It’s easy to prepare , made with just a handful of ingredients,it’s got no preservatives and the best part is that it requires no churning !





Some of the ingredients used in this recipe are







Ingredients


  • 1 large ripe mango -to make 1 cups puree

  • 200 gm sweetened condensed milk (milkmaid) (or less if you like it less sweet.

  • 1 cup heavy cream / whipping cream , cold (Do not use regular cream as this recipe requires a heavy or thickened cream)


Instructions


  • Dice the flesh of the mango .Puree using a blender until its a smooth paste.


  • Pour puree into a pan and cook it over medium -low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, for 8 - 10 minutes or until it reduces by half and let it rest until it cools down.


  • Combine cooled mango and condensed milk in a bowl. Whisk until combined.


  • Beat cream with a hand held beater or stand mixer until stiff peaks form.


  • Then pour the mango mixture into the cream. Fold through rather gently and do not vigorously mix it until lump free. This will take a few minutes.Once done, pour into a container.


  • Place a piece of baking / parchment paper on the surface (This will prevent it from forming ice crystals) & freeze overnight.


  • Remove parchment paper. Stand for 5 minutes to soften slightly, then scoop and serve immediately.
