Homemade no churn creamy strawberry ice cream

This no churn, delicious, creamy and fresh strawberry ice cream is one of the most

delicious desserts you will eat! It fresh, easy and the best part is that can be made with

just 5 ingredients and no ice cream maker!   








Some of the ingredients used in this recipe are







Ingredients


500 gm strawberries

1/2 tbsp raw brown sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract(do not use Vanilla essence as the taste with differ)

200 gm sweetened condensed milk /milkmaid

250 ml full fat whipping cream. (Do not use regular cooking cream)



Instructions


1.Preheat oven to 160°C with shelf in the middle.


2.Pile strawberries on a tray/tin.Sprinkle over sugar and ix it well.


3.Bake these for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, toss strawberries, then return to

oven for 15 minutes. Keep an eye on it - don't let the juices become sticky and stick to tray.


4.Remove from oven, use spatula to scrape into a food processor.


5.Blitz until very smooth and transfer this to a bowl.


6.Add condensed milk and vanilla extract into the strawberry paste . Beat well using an

electric hand mixture for 1-2  minutes on high to aerate and combine.


7.In another bowl, add the whipping cream. Use electric beater to beat into stiff peaks -(This will take you 5-7 minutes depending on the fat content in your whipping cream)


8.Add a dollop of cream into the strawberry mixture. Fold through gently (This is very important) . Then slowly keep adding whipping cream in small batches and repeat the process until all the ingredients are well combined.


9.Pour mixture into a container (preferably glass with airtight lid), smooth top.


10.Place sheet of baking paper on surface and press out air bubbles (stops ice crystal formation). Cover with lid, freeze overnight (minimum 12 hours).Remove from freezer, remove paper. Scoop with ice cream scooper and serve in cones or bowls!
