Herb & Almond Crusted Fish

Herb & Almond crusted fish is both easy and delicious. The flavours are infused with a variety of herbs and seasonings, then baked/pan fried to perfection. It's a simple yet satisfying way to enjoy a nutritious meal.






Some of the ingredients used in this recipe are





Ingredients


Fish (sea bass/Red snapper or any other white fish)-200 gm

Ginger -1.5 tsp

Curry leaves -10-12

Salt & black pepper -to taste

Nuts (chunky-almonds,walnuts)-a handful

Rosted cumin powder -1 tsp

Mustard oil -1.5 tbsp

Grated coconut -2 tbsp

Lemon juice -1/2


Directions


1.Marinade the fish with lemon,ginger ,curry leaves ,nuts ,salt ,pepper, roasted cumin powder and keep it aside for 30 minutes.


2.Pre heat the oven at 180C for ten minutes .In a baking tray transfer the marinated fish , add the grated coconut on top of the fish and let it bake for 10-12 minutes or until done. Alternatively,in a pan ,add oil and fry the fish for a few minutes on each side until the fish is 80./. cooked. Add the coconut on top of the fish and fry it again for a minute on each side until the fish is cooked . (This prevents the coconut from getting burnt).


3.Garnish with lemon wedges and serve hot.
