This healthy tea time cake recipe is a perfect snack and is a big hit amongst kids.It's soft, flaky,easy and healthy.Its made with whole wheat flour and nuts and is a delight to have at any parties or occasions.
Ingredients
Whole wheat flour- 100 gm
Raw organic jaggery powder-100gm
Butter- 100 gm
Eggs- 2
Baking powder-4 gm
Pure vanilla extract-2 gm
Nuts(mix of chopped pistachios and almonds)-50 gm
Method
1.In a bowl, add all the above ingredients and blend it with an electric hand blender or with a spatula.Mix well until it turns into a smooth batter.
2.Take a cake mould and grease it with butter generously and add the cake batter in this mould.
3.Preheat the oven to 180 C for 10 min.Transfer this batter into the mould and let it bake for 20-25 min or until done.Once donw,let is cool down for a bit,cut it into thin slices and serve warm.
