Some of the ingredients used in this recipe
Ingredients - (makes 3 short glasses)
Guava -1
Water -1 cup + a little more to add later to adjust the thick consistency.
Coconut milk - (tin/canned)-100 ml
Raw brown sugar-4 tsp
Rock salt - a pinch or two.
Arrowroot flour mixed in water -1/2 tsp+ 2 tbsp water
Tapioca /Sabudana-soaked overnight- 100 gm
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Directions
1.In a blender add guava along with a dash of water and make it into a thick purée.
2.In a pan add coconut milk ,brown sugar ,salt and stir it well. Let it simmer on slow gas for a 5 min.
3.In a small bowl add one tsp of arrowroot flour + 1 tbsp of water and mix it well . Add this to the coconut milk and let it simmer for a few more minutes . This will help give it a thick texture.
4.Add the guava purée, soaked sabudana ,a little bit of water and vanilla extract and mix it well.
5.Once done , let it cool down, transfer it into small bowls and refrigerate it for 4-5 hours . Serve cold
