Grilled chicken skewers with garlic butter

These juicy and succulent chicken skewers will soon become your new favourite! They are juicy ,tender, super delicious, easy to prepare and very healthy. Perfect for a light dinner, barbeque party or just an evening snack.







Some of the ingredients used in this recipe are






Ingredients for the chicken marinade


220 gm boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

Parmesan cheese- as per taste

Thyme- 1/2 tsp or fresh

Chili flakes - 1 tsp

Yogurt - 1/2 cup

2 tsp paprika powder

Salt to taste

Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes



Ingredients for the butter sauce


Melted butter 1 tbsp

Parsley- to taste

Garlic-1-2 cloves

Parmesan-As per taste

Thyme-1/2 tsp

Salt & pepper to taste

Chili flakes (optional)- to taste



Instructions


1.In a bowl, mix together all the marinade ingredients mentioned above.


2.Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Make sure the chicken is well coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15-30 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse.


3.Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers.


4.Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice char.


5.Brush the skewers with the garlic butter for extra flavour. Serve hot.
