Cream of pea soup

Velvety smooth Cream of Pea Soup is creamy, healthy ,very high in fibre and proteins ,easy to prepare and is very popular amongst kids ! So if you have kids who are fussy eaters and who don’t like to eat vegetables then this will be your go to receipe!

Ingredients


Olive oil -1 tbsp 

Garlic - 3 cloves 

Onion- 1 small 

Carrot -1/2 

Peas-220 gm 

Potato -1 

Salt& pepper

Milk 


Directions 


  1. In a pressure cooker , add oil ,garlic and onion and cook for 2 minutes until the onions are slightly brown.

  2. Add the carrots, potatoes and peas and let it cook for a few minutes . Add some water/stock ,close the pressure cooker and give it 6-8 whistles . Once done open the cooker and let the veggies along with stock cool down . Transfer it in a bowl bowl and using a hand blender blend the soup until the desired consistency. 

  3. Transfer this into the saucepan add some milk,salt and pepper and let it simmer for a few minutes until you get a creamy consistency. Transfer it into small soup bowls ,garnish it with cooking cream and micro greens . Serve hot.
