Chicken cafreal is a very popular Goan dish and absolutely loved by all.The chicken is marinated with flavourful green spices and this recipe is rustic, tangy and fiery.

1.Green chillies-2
2.Coriander leaves-1/2 cup
3.emon juice-1 lemon
4.Ginger-2''
5.Garlic-6-8 cloves
6.Cumin seeds-1 tsp
7.Cloves-4-5
8.Black peppercorns-6-8
9.Cinnamon-1.5'' stick
10.Turmeric-1/2 tsp
11.Salt to taste
12.Tamarind juice-1.5tbsp
13.Chicken drumsticks-4 pc
14.Olive oil-1 tbsp
15.Tomato ketchup-2-3 tbsp or as per taste
16.Onion rings, green chili,lemon wedges for garnishing
Method
1.In a blender add all the ingredients from (no. 1-12) and blend it well until its a smooth paste and marinade the chicken for 4-5 hours or overnight.
2.In a pan,add oilve oil and fry the chicken well until done.Add tomato ketchup to this for a nice and tangy flavour.
3.Garnish with onion rings, lemon wedges and green chillies. Serve hot.
