Chicken burger


These delicious chicken burgers are loaded with flavour,quick and easy to prepare and are perfect for a weeknight meal or a healthy school snack.






Some of the ingredients used in this recipe are





Ingredients

Chicken mince -120gm

Onion (finely chopped)-1/2

Yogurt -1/2 tbsp

Egg-1/3

Salt -a pinch

Green chilli -1/2 finely chopped

Light soya sauce -1 tbsp

Worcestershire sauce-1.5 tbsp

Caramelised onions- as per taste

Tomatoes-2 slices

Lettuce - 1-2 leaves

Burger buns-2 small buns or 1 big bun


For the burger sauce


Mayonnaise-1 tsp

Dijon mustard -1 tsp


Directions


1.In a bowl ,add chicken mince ,onions,yogurt ,egg,green chilli ,light soya sauce ,worcestershire sauce and give it a good mix. Let this marinade for 15 minutes.


2.Take the marinated chicken ,make burger size round shape patties and keep them aside.


3.In a pan , add olive oil and fry these chicken patties on both the sides until they are well cooked.


4.For the burger sauce , in a bowl add the mayonnaise and the Dijon mustard and mix it well. Keep this aside.


5.Take the burger buns ,slice it into half , add the burger sauce on both the sides, add the caramelised onions, tomato slices , lettuce and the cooked chicken patties & lots of Parmesan/cheddar cheese.


6.Serve this hot with some baked frech fries or potato wedges.
